The Somewhat Imperfect Ways to Rock the Fall 2016 Beauty Trends

Skin is in, all that glitters is…glamorous, and brown 90s lips are here to stay. Oh, and did I mention those less than perfect, heavily lined eyes with deep, dark black liner are a go?

Now, we all know that none of the beauty trends are new. The industry just recycles and renames the looks, in hopes of us feeling refreshed and ready for a new season.

But that’s fine.

We weren’t shooting to present the most fascinating, jaw-dropping trends of the season. We wanted to, instead, show you that the trends don’t have to be perfected in order to be fabulous. You don’t have to have perfect skin, or lips or eyes or anything else of that matter. You just need a little gusto to rock some random glitter around your eyes and pucker up in your favorite brown lipstick. No contoured, chiseled cheeks over here! This is real, everyday brown girl makeup. Most of us don’t have a makeup artist on deck anyway.

Our model, Julianka, took a risk and let us re-create some of the fall 2016 trends, showing her real skin, imperfections and all. And can we say, she looks beautiful?
